The NSW SES is continuing to respond to the Major Flood emergency across NSW. There are 160 active warnings, 39 of which are at Emergency Warning and 76 are at Watch and Act.    More than 50,000 people currently remain isolated due to floodwaters.  

NSW State Emergency Service (SES) and emergency service partners are continuing to support communities along the Hunter and Mid North Coast impacted by major flooding.

Major flooding is still occurring in several catchments across the Mid North Coast, as intense rainfall continues and the NSW State Emergency Service (SES) urges people to follow evacuation advice.

Prolonged heavy rainfall is set to continue throughout Thursday, as Mid North Coast communities remain on high alert for moderate and major flooding and NSW State Emergency Service (SES) members continue to respond to rescues. 

NSW SES is continuing to respond to flooding in northern parts of the state, with further evacuations on the Mid North Coast and hundreds of flood rescues taking place

The Manning River is flooding at a level never seen before at Taree, surpassing the 1929 record of six metres early this morning and is still rising. 

Significant flooding is occurring in the Mid North Coast region, and the NSW State Emergency Service is urging the community to monitor conditions, know their risk and leave early if required.   

The NSW SES has received more than 1,405 calls for assistance in the 24 hours to 5am Tuesday with heavy rainfall and damaging winds impacting the Hunter, Mid North Coast, Northwest Slopes and Plains, and Northern Tablelands. 

People along the NSW North Coast are being warned of flash flooding and rapid river rises as the NSW State Emergency Service (SES) responds to a multi-day severe weather event.
