NSW State Emergency Service (SES) volunteers have responded through the night in remote terrain to help safely retrieve missing bushwalkers in the Kosciuszko National Park after a request for assistance from NSW Police Force.

The NSW State Emergency Service (SES) is urging communities across western and far north western New South Wales to remain prepared as prolonged heavy rainfall and severe thunderstorms continue, increasing the risk of flash flooding and community isolation.
