During a tsunami, you need to know how you may hear about changing warnings or advice on what to do.
This includes moving away from areas likely to be impacted by tsunami
- For a Marine Threat, move away from coastal areas
- For a land and Marine threat, move outside of the evacuation areas
How you may hear about a tsunami
Keep following your emergency plan, keep safe and assist others where you can.
You should always prioritise life over property damage by leaving the area as soon as a Tsunami Warning is issued. Learn how to look out for each other
