A search will resume this morning at Limpinwood after a vehicle was swept off a causeway by floodwater last night. At around 9:30pm NSW SES and emergency services attended the scene. In water operators located the vehicle, with no occupants. NSW SES will be assisting NSW Police with the search this morning.

Communities on the Mid North Coast are warned the flood risk is continuing, despite the cancellation of a severe weather warning.   Residents at Wingham, Fosteron and Bandon Grove have been urged to prepare to isolate, as flood waters rise. NSW SES State Duty Commander Nicole Hogan said people within the warning area should be prepared to isolate for up to 24 hours.

NSW SES have been responding to severe weather across much of NSW. Overnight we have seen heavy rain in the Hunter and Mid North Coast regions as well as damaging winds from Nowra to Seal Rocks

Residents in Northern NSW are being advised to prepare for further heavy rain, as NSW State Emergency Service (SES) crews continue cleaning up across much of the state following severe storms.

NSW State Emergency Service (SES) members have responded to more than 3,000 incidents since Wednesday morning, with more weather expected across the north of the state on Thursday evening and into Friday.

NSW SES have received more than 2250 calls and responded to more than 1800 incidents in the last 24 hours (to 5am) as severe weather lashed many parts of the state.

NSW State Emergency Service (SES) is warning holidaymakers camping near rivers and creeks on the Central Coast, Mid North Coast and North Coast to prepare for severe weather.  

The NSW State Emergency Service (SES) is advising residents to monitor conditions in the Hawkesbury Nepean Valley, as forecast rain may lead to river level rises.

NSW State Emergency Service (SES) volunteers are delighted to hear missing hiker Hadi Nazari has been found safe and well.

More than 150 members of the NSW State Emergency Service have assisted Police with ongoing search efforts for a missing hiker in the Kosciuszko National Park.
