A second deployment of NSW emergency service personnel land landed in North Queensland to assist with flood resupply, evacuation centre support, and flood debris cleanup.

Drones, boats and more than 800 emergency service personnel have taken part in a mass flood rescue exercise on most major river systems across the state, led by the NSW State Emergency Service (SES) over the weekend. 

A second deployment of NSW emergency service personnel is on the way to assist with flood resupply, support of evacuation centres and flood debris clean up in North Queensland communities. 

Specialist crews from NSW have today deployed to North Queensland to assist communities impacted by major flooding.
