NSW SES continues to respond to major flooding and assist with recovery in the NSW Central West, as emergency service personnel from Singapore are due to arrive in Sydney today.

The international contingent, alongside recently-deployed New Zealand personnel who arrived earlier this week, will assist the NSW SES response to the state's ongoing floods.

This week, the Forbes community was asked to evacuate for the second time in two weeks, with the Lachlan River expected to reach 10.8m today which is similar to the 1952 record.

Downstream, Condobolin and Euabalong are reaching record river heights, and yesterday we asked residents to prepare to evacuate and/or prepare to isolate.

NSW SES is helping the community with sandbagging, public information, emergency supplies and evacuation assistance.

In other parts of the Central West, NSW SES members are assisting with recovery and clean-up.

Yesterday, alongside emergency service partners, our members conducted 284 damage assessments at Eugowra, with 225 buildings deemed 'damaged'.

NSW SES urges community members to follow emergency service advice and evacuate immediately if you are asked to do so.

If you have concerns for welfare for friends, family and loved ones affected by floodwater, go to the Red Cross 'Register Find Reunite' website.

For emergency help in floods and storms, call the NSW SES on 132 500. In life threatening situations, call Triple Zero (000) immediately.
