NSW SES is proud to celebrate NAIDOC week 2017 running from the 2nd to the 9th of July.
NAIDOC Week is a chance to celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
As part of these celebrations, we are pleased to have the opportunity to thank our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander members for their service to NSW SES and our communities.
The theme for this year is ‘Our Languages Matter’, and the NSW SES Is committed to work with Aboriginal communities across the State to ensure that our organisation is welcoming for everyone to be part of.
Taking the time to reflect on the importance of NAIDOC week for our country is one way we can all do this.
