Your local NSW SES Tomaree Unit will be attending the Port Stephens Winterfest Car Show 12th July 2026. The Car Show is an annual event with approximately 500 exhibitors and 10,000 + vistors to the event. Tomaree Unit members will be in attendance to promote the services and support provided by the SES. Also information to assist in preparing for an event such as floods, storms and tsunami in our area which will assist in managing risks and ability to respond. The community are invited to meet with our members to obtain information and view the various equipment used by the unit.

Your local NSW SES Batemans Bay and Moruya Units will be attending the Mogodha Naidoc Big Day Out. We would love to chat to you about your local risks of Floods Storms and Tsunami and what you can do to prepare, respond and recover. Drop by and Say Hi

Your local NSW SES Dorrigo Unit will be attending the Made in Dorrigo event. We would love to chat to you about joining our unit and about things you can do to ready in the event of storm events and what you can do to prepare, respond and recover. Drop by and say hi.

Ryde SES unit welcome you to join us at Carols on the Common - Sydney's second largest Christmas carols in the heart of Ryde. Kicking off at 5:00pm and running through the night is the Carols on the Common performance, featuring all your favourite classic carols with the best performers from all over Sydney. Our SES volunteers will be there with activities and hand-outs to help you and your family better understand and prepare for emergencies such as storms and floods. To close out the night, the whole family will be treated to an awe-inspiring firework display. Come in early to visit us and join in all the other amusement activities guaranteed to keep the kids entertained with the giant slide, or dodgem cars and dozens of other rides. Food vendors will be serving throughout the night. Free entry for all. Limited parking is available on-site with a donation.

Join us at a NAIDOC Week event hosted by Port Stephens Council, celebrating and recognising the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples across Port Stephens. The event will include a Street March leading into the Fun Day at Boomerang Park, Raymond Terrace.
