Recovery continues for Mid North Coast communities as NSW SES hand over to NSW Reconstruction Authority

The NSW SES has concluded its operational response after heavy rainfall and severe flooding caused extensive damage to homes, businesses and infrastructure on the Mid North Coast and in the Hunter.

Some areas continue to be impacted by floodwaters, with some communities isolated due to localised flooding of creeks or tributaries, or damage to transport infrastructure.

For isolated areas, NSW SES continues to support resupply efforts. The main focus of operations has now transitioned to support impacted communities to transition to recovery.

Affected residents can find recovery information on the NSW Government Flood Recovery page.

  • For assistance during floods and storms call the NSW SES on 132 500 or Triple Zero (000) for life threatening emergencies.
