Request for assistance emergency service number

Response times to calls for assistance vary according to the volume of calls received, the number of volunteers available and the length of time requests for assistance ahead of you take to complete. While the NSW SES endeavours to assist community members in the shortest possible time, extended delays in responding may occur. Thank you for your patience.

If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency call 000 immediately.

Did you know up to a third of storm and heavy rain related requests we receive are preventable? Help reduce unnecessary calls by cleaning gutters and downpipes, securing or putting away loose items from yards and balconies, trimming back overhanging branches and ensuring your roof is in good repair.
