NSW FLOOD CLEAN UP, RESUPPLY AND RECOVERY

07/04/2022 12:45 PM

As the flood clean-up continues across the state, the NSW SES is continuing to respond to requests for assistance from the community with the support of partner agencies. The NSW SES also remains committed to supporting the recovery process for those communities impacted by recent flooding.

Natural disasters, cleaning up and recovery can take a toll on your mental and physical health. Support is available to help you look after your own and your loved ones' wellbeing.

As we transition into recovery in the Northern Rivers, NSW SES Andrew McCullough and NSW Police Supt. Scott Tanner walk us through resupply information and the next steps for people affected by the back-to-back flooding in northern NSW.

Flood Clean Up and Resupply

If you need essential resupply or essential transport (for example, for an essential medical appointment):

Call the NSW SES on 132 500 or complete the Service NSW form

  • You will be provided with a reference number.
  • Contact your local supplier (eg. a supermarket), pay for the goods and arrange them to be delivered to the NSW SES site.
  • Ensure your supplier packages your order appropriately and mark with the property / person name, address, contact details and NSW SES reference number.
  • NSW SES will arrange delivery to the isolated location.

When completing a request, provide:

  • Your name and contact number
  • Name and contact number for the person who needs assistance (if you're applying on behalf of someone else)
  • Residential or business address (for clean up)
  • Pick up address and delivery address (for essential goods support, if you've placed an order)
