Volunteers from the NSW SES Port Stephens Unit have rescued a 800kg Angus Bull named ‘George’ who was stuck and unable to get to his feet.
SES General Land Rescue volunteers went out to a property in Hinton, near Newcastle, to help the pet bull who couldn’t get to his feet. The SES crew used a special harness and rig to lift George into a comfortable position while he recovers.
Describing the rescue on their Facebook page, the Port Stephens SES Unit said that George “could not get enough hugs and pats from everyone – one of the most beautiful animals we have ever encountered.”
