Goulburn's Bunnings store hit by strong winds

Strong wind gusts have lifted roof sheeting off the Bunnings store in Goulburn.
The SES was called to the large Hume Street premises at 7.45pm Tuesday.
Goulburn unit commander Daryl Skinner said strong wind had dislodged three or four sheets of roofing, each five to six metres in length, underneath a gable.
"They came loose and were threatening to come off. While they serve no real purpose, we are securing them as a matter of public safety," he said.
Eight personnel are on site. They are utilising height safety equipment.
Mr Skinner said the store manager was onsite.
The sheeting will be secured and kept in situ until contractors arrive on Wednesday.
The Bureau of Meteorology recorded wind gusting at 80km/h at Goulburn Airport at 7.30pm and 57km/h by 8pm. At 11pm, the top wind gust was 44km/h. No wind speeds were available for the Goulburn TAFE weather station.
The Bureau is predicting 12 degrees and a possible shower with westerly winds up to 46km/h on Wednesday.
