Celebrating NSW SES Youth

12/08/2019 11:50 AM

The New South Wales State Emergency Service celebrates International Youth Day today by taking a moment to thank the young people serving in our local Units. International Youth Day brings youth issues to the attention of the international community and celebrates the potential of youth in today's society.

The 2019 Theme is 'Transforming Education' highlighting efforts to make education inclusive and accessible for all youth.

The NSW SES acknowledges and appreciates the energy and expertise of youth members age 16 – 30 years who generously volunteer to share their time, skills and experience for the benefit of our service and the wider community. If you’re a young person and you’re thinking about joining the NSW SES, here’s some profiles from a few of our youngest members:

 Isaiah Gorman

Taryn Rowe

Dylan Whitelaw

Andrew McDonough

Linda Catalano
