Inspirational volunteers assist with Mt Kosciuszko Wheelchair Challenge

05/03/2018 11:47 AM

Nine volunteers from both NSW SES Snowy River and Cooma Units took part in the 18km Mt Kosciusko Wheelchair Challenge over the weekend.

The volunteers tirelessly assisted in getting six wheelchair bound people to summit the peak Mt Kozciusko, the very top of Australia! We are so very proud of all the 'mules' as they were fondly called, that pulled, pushed and were human breaks to make this opportunity possible.

The 18km walk, organised by the Rotary Clubs of Turramurra and Cooma was all for a good cause to raise funds and awareness for SpinalCure and Spinal injury recovery research.
