14/03/2017 01:46 PM

A Flood Watch has been issued for the Wilsons, Brunswick, Orara, Bellinger and Upper Macintyre Rivers.

The Bureau of Meteorology (BoM) has today issued an updated Flood Watch for a number of river systems in north east New South Wales.

The Flood Watch is for minor flooding on the Macintyre, Brunswick, Wilsons, Orara and Bellinger Rivers. People who live and work along these rivers should begin preparations now. This includes lifting pumps and relocating livestock and equipment to higher ground. If isolation is likely stock up now on food, fuel, medicine and other essential items. Do not forget pets and livestock. Campers should relocate to higher ground.

If you require emergency assistance call the NSW SES on 132 500.
