Congratulations to Samuel Corby from the NSW SES Sutherland Shire Unit for winning the NSW SES Young Volunteer of the Year Award.

Samuel was honoured recently at a special ceremony at NSW Parliament House with Minister for Emergency Services David Elliott and NSW SES Acting Commissioner Greg Newton.

Samuel is one of many young NSW SES volunteers who are dedicated to serving their community. Since Samuel became a member at 18 years of age he has dedicated close to 800 volunteer hours in 2 years. Samuel has gained many skills and qualifications and has been pro-active in providing service to the community.

Thank you to program partner Origin Energy and the NSW SES Volunteer Association, for their continued support of young NSW SES volunteers.
