The NSW State Emergency Service (NSW SES) is committed to ensuring your health and safety during your potential volunteer engagement. As a potential volunteer with the NSW SES, you must also take reasonable steps to maintain your mental and physical health and safety.
After reviewing the volunteer role with the NSW SES, I acknowledge that:
Code of Conduct and Ethics
I understand that as a potential volunteer I will be required to complete a Volunteer Declaration during the onboarding process declaring that I understand, agree and will abide by the NSW State Emergency Service Code of Conduct and Ethics.
Anyone can be faced with ethical dilemmas in their work and personal lives. The Code has been developed to guide Members in making decisions and in determining an appropriate course of action that is supported by NSW SES Values (TARPS). Members are required to be committed to these fundamental values in all interactions with public sector agencies, contractors, other organisations, the public and each other.
