Planning for cases of potential Dam failure

This paper describes the work which has been done in  New South Wales (NSW) to plan for the impact of potential dam-failure flooding. It details the arrangements which have been devised to guide the preparation of the plans and summarises progress to date by identifying what has been done on a case-by-case basis. Some comments are also made about necessary review work and the problems of ensuring that plans remain effective.
