Research Papers - Dams

From time to time, members of staff write papers relating to themes they deal with as SES Officers.

Over the past several years a substantial body of material has been created over a range of themes relating to training, flood and storm operations, floodplain management and community education.

This research explains how and why we do what we do and puts forward ideas on how we might do it even better in the future.

Sometimes the papers appear in trade journals such as The Australian Journal of Emergency Management or National Emergency Response, and sometimes they can be found in the proceedings of conferences on emergency management or related themes.

On occassions, they are written in conjunction with consultants or people from other agencies.
