SES Trundle Unit volunteer Mick O'Bryan was presented with the Ten Year Long Service Medal by the Director General of the NSW State Emergency Service (SES) Murray Kear during a ceremony at the SES Lachlan Region Headquarters.

 

Mick joined the Trundle SES Unit in December 1997 and has been a vital member of the unit, completing training in the areas of Road-crash Rescue, Map Reading and Navigation, Storm and Water, Traffic Control, Maintain Team Safety, Work in Operations Centre, Operate Communications Equipment, First Aid, General Rescue, AIIMS, RFA Online as well as being a trainer and assessor.

It is the dedication of volunteers like Mick that ensure the SES can fulfil its role to the community and continue to be the volunteer organisation of choice for our members.

Congratulations Mick and thank you for your commitment to the service.
