Doug has been a member of the Temora Unit for over the past 18 years.
Doug holds the Certificate 2 & 3 in “Public Safety - SES Rescue”, and he is a qualified Workplace Trainer & Assessor, having completed his “Certificate IV in Workplace Training Category 2” and “Workplace Assessor “qualifications. Doug is qualified to provide training and assessment to SES members in “First Aid”.
Doug has also completed training in “Flood Rescue Boat Operations”, “Team Leader”, “Conduct Briefing & Debriefing”, “General Rescue”, “Map Reading & Navigation”, “Operate Communications Equipment”, “Road Crash Rescue”, “Chainsaw Cross Cut & Limbing”, “Storm & Water Damage”, “Train Small Groups”, “First Aid”, “Work in Operations Centre, and “RTA Traffic Controller”.
Doug has previously been awarded his;
• Long Service 15 Year Certificate & Pin
• National Medal through the NSW Ambulance Service.
Today, Doug is receiving his Long Service Medal for 10 Years.
