Ian is the current Local Controller of the Temora SES Unit having been appointed to the role on 14 February 2007.
Ian started with the SES in 1994 and has 14 years service. He has held the position of Secretary for a period as well as being an active member.
Ian holds the Certificate 3 in “Public Safety - SES Rescue”, and his SES qualifications & skills include “Team Leader”, “Maintain Team Safety”, “Land Search”, “First Aid”, “Conduct Briefing & Debriefing”, “General Rescue”, “Map Reading & Navigation”, “Operate Communications Equipment”, “Road Crash Rescue”, “Chainsaw Cross Cut & Limbing”, “Chainsaw Felling”, “Storm & Water Damage”, “Train Small Groups”, RTA Traffic Controller” and he holds a “Certificate IV in Workplace Training Category 2” and is a High School trained Teacher.
