Urban Search and Rescue (USAR)
SES volunteers are often asked by other emergency services to assist in Urban Search and Rescue.
The roles involved with USAR include:
Removinig trapped and/or injured people from dangerous situations
Applying first aid
Leading a team of SES volunteers in USAR
Monitoring and identifying OH&S issues
