NSW SES has received over 18,600 requests for assistance since last Monday making this response one of the most significant in the history of the service. With such a large number of calls and tasks, the NSW SES appreciate the patience affected communities have shown. We have heard amazing feedback and support from communities across the Hunter and Sydney as NSW SES aim to complete these remaining jobs over the next few days.
