NSW SES volunteers have responded to over 1050 requests for assistance since the beginning of the flood event last Monday. It is expected that this response will scale down over the coming 24 to 48 hours.
Currently the focus is on flood rescues and isolation in the north east of NSW and flood rescues and storm damage in the Broken Hill area due to heavy rainfall. A Severe Thunderstorm Warning is current for the Lower Western and Upper Western Forecast Districts....
