Home FloodSafe

Many residential properties across NSW are affected by dangerous floods and there have been avoidable deaths due to flooding. The protection of life is the highest priority for the NSW SES.

Floods can also cause major damage to property and destroy possessions.

It is important to be prepared now so that you will know what to do when it does flood.

Making a Home FloodSafe Plan can help you prepare for, respond to and recover from floods. The NSW SES have developed a Home FloodSafe Toolkit which can assist in making your plan.
