Community Language Resources
NSW is made up of many diverse people and cultures. The NSW SES is committed to providing information on floods, storms and tsunami in different languages.
These pages contain valuable flood, storm and tsunami information in different languages. The development of these resources is an ongoing project across different emergency services. More resources will be added over time.
The NSW SES has also recently developed an Indigenous Volunteering brochure.

The SES 132 500 Magnet was developed in collaboration with the Sydney Migrant Resource Centre to visually show the number to call for flood and storm emergencies.
The magnet was so popular, the SES developed them for distribution to the whole of the community.
Community Language FloodSafe and StormSafe Guides
The SES along with Canterbury SES Unit and the Canterbury City Council developed StormSafe and FloodSafe brochures in six community languages through funding from the NRMA.
These brochures can assist people prepare for, respond to and recover better from floods and storms.

The Victoria SES have translated FloodSafe information into different languages.
