Major Community Partnership Framework
NSW SES has established a Community Partnership framework to enhance its existing community education and volunteer programs. The framework enables the NSW SES to develop formal partnerships (sponsorships) with major corporate entities, focused on improving its community engagement, preparedness and recovery programs, as well as supporting volunteer development and funding community engagement resources.
NSW SES seeks to partner with organisations that have similar values and aims when it comes to public safety and community involvement.
The Community Partnership framework consists of three tiers with benefits at each level depending on the programs supported and level of investment:
Tier 1 – Principal Partner
Tier 2 – Presenting Partner
Tier 3 – Supporting Partner
Partnerships developed within this framework are generally state-wide and managed by NSW SES State Headquarters. Localised supporter arrangements are also possible, and these are managed by the relevant SES region or unit.
