    NSW SES volunteers are well-trained professionals who share their commitment to helping the community. To become a volunteer you need to be aged 16 and over. The NSW SES is made up of individuals from a diverse range of ages, backgrounds and abilities. There are many roles that NSW SES volunteers can choose to do including administration, planning, training, field, communication, logistics, public information team and other support roles. Opportunities exist for people from diverse backgrounds and abilities.

    Join an early morning walking historical tour walking tour around the 1955 Maitland flood sites. Coordinated by the NSW SES Hunter Region and the Hunter Local Land Services for the 1955 flood commemoration in February 2015.
