  • Palerang / Queanbeyan Community Preparedness Session: Palerang Council Chambers, 10 Majara Street, Bungendore

    Come along to learn what to expect this bushfire and storm season.  This is a joint session with NSW RFS, NSW SES, Fire and Rescue NSW, Local Emergency Management Committee, NSW Police.

  • Multi-cultultural Expo Emergency Services Uniform Parade: Erina Fair

    This years focus of the Expo will be on Life Skills. The Multicultural Expo organising committee would like to scope the possibility of having an Emergency Service Uniform Parade (to parade the different uniforms of the Emergency Services i.e Police, Ambulance, SES, Fire Brigade, Marine Rescue etc.) The aim is to help Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) communities and new arrivals identify who is who in an Emergency situation.

  • Shoalhaven River Festival: Shoalhaven River

    The Shoalhaven River Festival is a fabulous, fun, community event with something for everyone.   It includes a street parade, music concert featuring local talent, markets, food stalls, and some fantastic river events. During the afternoon the festival will host such activities as dragon boats, stand up paddle board races, surf boats, and a local 'Pollies' race.   In the evening the river bank will become a sea of people enjoying live entertainment, with a huge fireworks display to mark the end of the festival. Children's activities along the river bank, and a variety of food stalls will assist in creating a fantastic atmosphere.
